Turning Torso – Malmö

Turning Torso in Malmö is the biggest skyscraper in Scandinavia. From February 2004 until October 2005 Control System Int delivered consulting services, developed and sighted network of points, surveyed the foundation of the construction, sighted prefabricated elements and delivered full service solution including final documentation.

Turning Torso is 190 meters high and its construction is based on 9 cubes, each with 5 stories. Including mezzanines the skyscraper has 54 floors each with 400 m2 of floor area. This is very unique not only in the architecture industry but also for Malmo region and Sweden as a whole. Control system is proud to be partner of such a project.
